Information you enter
The website has no registration, comments, contact forms, payments or subscriptions. It does not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, identity documents or health history. The age-confirmation button records a choice; it does not verify your identity.
The journal search compares the words you type with article titles and descriptions already loaded into the page. It runs entirely in your browser. The search term is not sent to a search provider, added to the page address or saved to an account. Topic filters work locally as well.
The age preference
When you confirm that you are 18 or older, the browser stores the value 1 under the key age-ok:flammeboutique.com in local storage. This keeps the entry notice from appearing on each page. The value does not contain your name, actual age or reading history, and it is not an advertising cookie.
The website's code does not send this preference to a server. No automatic expiry is programmed. It remains until you remove the site's browser data, the browser clears it or you use a browsing environment that does not retain it. You can remove it through your browser's privacy or site-storage settings; the age question will then appear again.
If storage is unavailable, confirming your age still allows the current page to open, but the choice may not be remembered on another page. Reading the journal does not require enabling advertising cookies.
Hosting and technical information
Cloudflare Pages delivers the site's files. To respond to requests and protect its infrastructure, the hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, requested address, time, browser details and security signals. A static website can involve this technical processing even when it has no forms.
The provider's purposes, transfers and retention arrangements depend on the services and applicable terms. We do not state an unverified retention period. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and its technical-cookie documentation. A cookie described in that documentation is not necessarily used on this particular website.
Resources and external links
This version uses system fonts and images served with the website. It does not load Google Fonts, embedded videos or advertising pixels. It does not maintain reader profiles or mailing lists.
Following a link to another domain creates a visit to that website, which has its own operator and privacy practices. Read its notice before providing information. The generated editorial scenes on Flamme are illustrations, not photographs submitted by identifiable customers or readers.
Visit and performance measurement
Cloudflare adds its Web Analytics script when delivering pages. This resource, loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com, measures page views and loading performance in the browser. See the service description for how it works. This measurement is separate from the browser-only journal search and age preference.
Requests and future changes
A verified public contact channel is not yet available. The contact page will be updated when one is operating. This is an outstanding limitation, not a statement that visitors give up any rights provided by applicable law.
Do not send personal documents to an address guessed from the domain name. If forms, audience measurement, commerce or other data processing are added, the relevant notice must first explain the operator, purposes and arrangements that apply. A privacy statement for today's static journal should not be used to describe a different future service.
